Well, the time is finally here. I leave bright and early tomorrow morning (why do flights always seem to be really early or really late in the day?) and can't believe my departure date is finally here!
I have eagerly waited for this date and now that's it's arrived, I'm not sure I'm ready to leave. I will miss you all sooo much! But of course I am excited. I have had butterflies for almost 18 hours already. My body was so excited for today that it woke me up at 4am! You'd think I'd have run out of adrenaline by now but I'm still going. =)
Tomorrow I fly to New York to visit my Nana and enjoy the city. I will be there until Sunday the 21st when I take a bus down to Delaware to visit my Grandma and Pop-pop before I fly to England on Wednesday the 24th. I will be in Manchester for a day and a half and then take a bus to school which starts on Saturday the 27th!
At the moment I am trying to squish every last thing in my luggage. Packing for 6 1/2 months is so very different than packing for 2 weeks! In the end, I'll have what I need (hopefully) and the rest will be an added bonus. It's at times like these when I realize just how much I have! God has richly blessed us (of course it feels less like a blessing when you're trying to pack). =)
I don't know when I will next have internet access so my next entry may not be for a while.
